these shades possess great quality lenses, exceptional for bright day-time driving. notwithstanding, these shades are not true blue light blockers, like your sport blue blocker square lens horn rimmed 57mm shades... but this is acceptable since i own those too to block blue light. i would recommend for driving (i am a motorcyclist), but bear in mind they do not block natural blue light; instead they slightly attenuate the blue light and provide a magenta-esque hue to the view.
